Description

As Scrum and Agile practices become more mainstream and fundamentally change the way companies work internally, it is only natural that the way companies work with each other will change. Unfortunately, many procurement departments are ill equipped to contract in a manner friendly to incremental development. So how can Agile companies operate under a change control board?

Fortunately there is a very simple and Agile answer. With an Agile contract neither party is bound to a fixed scope of work that was agreed upon when the least was know about the project. Agile contract customers pay for the functionality delivered, and Agile contractors maximize their value output.
